Moving to the other side of the world is funny business, especially the UK. Some things are similar enough not to feel the distance (supermarket brands, cars on the same side of the road, people can understand what I say most of the time), while other things are just awful, like being really far away from your family and friends.
The internet makes up for a lot, but it’s hard to just ‘hang’ over skype. I miss my peeps.
